SUPPORT OUR JUNIOR GOLF & CHARACTER EDUCATION PROGRAMS

Want to make a difference in the lives of young people? There are many ways you can support the mission of The First Tee and help us introduce the game of golf and its inherent values like honesty, respect, and confidence, to kids and teens.

2006-322_opt Donations

First Tee - Raritan Valley is very grateful and appreciative of the great support that we continue to receive, but there is still much to be accomplished. Here is a photo from Baltusrol Golf Club with their recent donation of 6,000 golf balls to our chapter. Many private clubs and individuals donate golf clubs, golf shoes, golf balls, and other items that can be utilized by our students wishing to begin our program. If you would like to donate golf clubs, we accept sets of irons, metal drivers and fairway metals, putters, and wedges. If you wish to support the continued success of this program and would like to make a monetary donation, please click here.

Due to technological changes and storage space, we are only accepting clubs that are no older than 6 years old! Equipment donations are appreciated and are a great way to help this program succeed. Students in our program are in need of the following items: junior club sets, sets of irons, putters, wedges, metal drivers, fairway metals, stand bags, and golf balls. Equipment donations can be dropped off at the following location: First Tee - Raritan Valley (Home Office - Located at The Learning Center @ Galloping Hill Golf Course) 1 Golf Drive Kenilworth, NJ 07033 If you have any questions about a donation, please call (908) 245-1120.

th_golf_girlWhy Give?

Your generous donation will help give a kid a chance to play one of life's greatest games. As you know golf is a very expensive sport. Many of our participants come from low to middle-income families and cannot afford a set of golf clubs or golf bags. Please help give the gift of golf for one or more of our participants by donating your old clubs or golf equipment to our program. With our program recently expanding, we can use any and all equipment you could provide. Thank you for your generosity and support. Each year we provide financial assistance to approximately 28% of our students that come from less fortunate circumstances. We are currently hosting our "Sponsor a Child" program to help provide funding for less fortunate children. Please help sponsor a child in our program. For more information on sponsoring a child, please call Mark McCabe, Executive Director at (908) 245-1120. Thank you for your support!
